These compounds are water based, low dusting, silicone-free, and body shop safe with no fillers added. ATOMIC PRO™ compounds are ideal for DA, rotary, orbital or hand use and can be used with foam, wool or microfiber pads.

ATOMIC PRO™ HEAVY CUT 1000 is a robust cutting compound that achieves a polished surface, primed for finishing. With a rating of 1000, ATOMIC PRO™ HEAVY CUT 1000 excels at eliminating oxidation, deep scratches, and prominent swirl marks. Use ATOMIC PRO™ PURPLE QUICK DETAILER to add moisture back to worked compound.

HCC as the inaugural stage in your intensive paint correction procedure, HEAVY CUT 1000 lays the foundation for MEDIUM CUT 1500 or our polishing and finishing compounds.

Instructions

For use as a hand application:
1. Shake well.
2. Apply a small amount of ATOMIC PRO™ HEAVY CUT (HCC) 1000 to your primed applicator.
3. Working in small sections with passes, buff right to left and top to bottom until the desired finish is achieved.
4. Wipe away with ATOMIC PRO™ PURPLE QUICK DETAILER dampened plush microfiber towel.
5. Hand buff to achieve a brilliant shine.

For use with machine applications:
1. Shake well.
2. Apply A small amount of ATOMIC PRO™ HEAVY CUT (HCC) 1000 to your primed cutting pad.
3. Working in small sections, polish at 1300-1900 rpm (5100-6100 OPM on DA) in both right to left and forward and backward motions until all defects are removed. Do not overheat surface.
4. Reduce pressure until the desired gloss is achieved.
5. Never allow the pad to dry out.
6. Wipe away with a ATOMIC PRO™ PURPLE QUICK DETAILER dampened plush microfiber towel.
7. Hand buff to achieve a brilliant shine.
